Shows to See in Los Angeles This July 2026

In case you couldn't tell by the scorching weather, summer has arrived in Los Angeles. And with the late sunsets and sweaty afternoons come shows — lots of shows. Both indoor and outdoor. Straightforward and a little left-of-center. So, if you’re looking for a reason to escape your stuffy home this month, check out one of these shows, support your local venues, and maybe discover a new favorite artist along the way.

Here are six events to check out:

CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO

Flying Lotus plays Blue Note LA on the 11th and 12th with a live band, part of a bicoastal residency that also hit New York. 2026 marks the twentieth anniversary of his debut, 1983, so this run covers the whole arc. Blue Note is a supper club: table seating, a drink minimum, first come first served. Table seating is all ages, the bar area is 21 and up.

CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso built the whole project on refusing to pick a lane, and the Argentine duo hit the Greek on the 16th treating Latin trap, funk, rock and jazz as one continuous material. Watch how they weaponize a genre pivot mid-song — the pivot is the point, and it only lands because the room is small enough to feel the turn.

CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO

CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso hit the Greek on the 16th. The Argentine duo are known for Latin trap, funk, rock and jazz, and for fusing all of it into one continuous material rather than picking a lane. The Greek is also an incredible spot for a venue. For an outdoor show in the summertime, there really is nothing quite like it.

Sparklmami

Sparklmami plays the Moroccan Lounge on the 22nd as part of ARTDONTSLEEP presents Jazz Is Dead. The LA artist is touring in this body, her bilingual, multi-genre debut out via Verve and Slowplay, and the Moroccan Lounge is exactly the size where you can still say you saw it first.

Suki Waterhouse brings the Loveland run to the lawn at Hollywood Forever on the 23rd, with Charlotte Lawrence opening. The cool thing about Hollywood Forever is that the venue is doing half the work. Dream pop in a cemetery at dusk is a mood.

Anysia Kym & Tony Seltzer

CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO

Anysia Kym and Tony Seltzer play the Echo on the 24th with Alexander Spit. Kym writes R&B that keeps dissolving at the edges. Seltzer builds the floor under it, a producer whose beats leave deliberate holes for a voice to fall through. Put them in a 350-cap room and the holes become the show.

Mereba turns that same Blue Note room still. Her R&B moves through folk and hip-hop without ever raising its voice. Two nights, the 24th and 25th.
